Terms and Conditions: Garbage Can Cleaning Services

This Agreement is between Ohio Clean Cans LLC (“The Company”) and you (“Customer”). By using our services, you agree to these terms.

Payment and Charges

Pricing: Pay the current prices. We may adjust pricing with notice by email or SMS.

Payment Method: Keep a valid credit/debit card on file. You authorize automatic charges based on your plan.

Card Updates: Update card info (expiration, address, etc.) in the Customer Portal yourself.

Prepaid/Annual Plans: Recurring annual recharge after 13th cleaning. Cancel renewal by notifying us before next billing date. No credits for unused cleanings.

Declined Payments: Service may be suspended or terminated if payment isn’t resolved within 7 days.

Customer Responsibilities

Accessibility: Cans must be empty and curbside-accessible on service day. Excluding private drives.

Waste Restrictions: No excessive oils, unbagged animal waste, hazardous chemicals, lead/fresh paint, adhesives, or construction materials (plaster, concrete, etc.).

Early Cancellation: If you cancel a subscription after the first cleaning with no service quality issue, you’ll be charged the one-time cleaning rate difference.

Missed Cleaning (No Notice): No cans out fee applies. Prepaid customers may lose that cleaning credit.

Rules for Discounted Subscription Pricing

Pricing on your subscription is based on the number of expected cleanings per calendar year (excluding canceled cleanings due to cold weather).

Customer reschedule requests will postpone your upcoming cleaning for 4 weeks.

Pausing your subscription is not permitted.

Prepaid Monthly Plans: Reschedule up to 3x per calendar year.
Monthly Plan: Reschedule up to 3x per calendar year.
Bi-Monthly Plan: Reschedule up to 2x per calendar year.
Quarterly Plan: Reschedule up to 2x per calendar year.
Seasonal Plans:
• 6 or more cleanings per year: Reschedule up to 2x per calendar year.
• 5 or fewer cleanings per year: No reschedules. This is a set number of cleanings per calendar year.

Note: If reschedules exceed limits, we may adjust your plan and/or pricing to match actual usage.

The Spirit of a Subscription

Our recurring plan rates are discounted well below our one-time price for one reason: they are built for ongoing service. That is the spirit of a subscription — we give you our best price, and in return the plan is meant to continue, not to be used as a way to obtain a few discounted cleanings and then cancel.

Getting started: When you first begin a recurring plan, we ask for a minimum of three (3) completed cleanings to get started (seasonal plans simply commit to their first full stated season). After that, you may cancel at any time, no questions asked. Long-time customers: this applies only to new signups — nothing changes for you.

Future enrollment at our discretion: Enrollment in recurring plans is offered at Ohio Clean Cans’ sole discretion. Where a recurring plan is canceled shortly after enrollment, or a pattern of repeated short-term enrollment and cancellation exists, Ohio Clean Cans may decline future recurring plan enrollment for that customer or service address. One-time service remains available to everyone at standard rates.

Company Responsibilities

We will clean and sanitize your cans per your plan. If we miss a service due to our error (not customer issues), we’ll reschedule at the next available time.

Communication Consent (SMS & Electronic Notices)

By providing your mobile phone number and contact information to Ohio Clean Cans LLC, you expressly consent to receive SMS text messages and other electronic communications from us related to:

  • Appointment reminders

  • Service notifications

  • Billing alerts

  • Account updates

  • Pricing changes

  • Promotional offers

You understand and agree that:

  • Message frequency may vary.

  • Message and data rates may apply.

  • Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase.

  • You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any SMS message.

  • For assistance, reply HELP or contact us using the information below.

You agree that Ohio Clean Cans LLC may rely on your provided phone number as accurate and that you are authorized to consent to receive communications at that number.

Miscellaneous

Entire Agreement: This document is the full agreement and replaces all prior talks or promises.

Liability: No liability for delays due to things beyond control (extreme weather, late trash/recycle pickup, civil unrest, etc.).

Termination: We may end service for violation of these terms.
